Where does the latex of our balloons come from?

Latex is a product extracted from the sap of Hevea Brasiliensis trees. The raw material of latex is harvested by slitting the bark of the trees, and the obtained milky substance is harvested and processed to get an elastic and compact mix. 
Latex has a number of natural properties, such as elasticity and an extraordinary recovery capacity, which make it the perfect material to create a balloon.
